Important Information

Tipp City Schools reminds parents and guardians the deadline to request daycare/babysitter school transportation is August 4, 2023. The district cannot accept late requests. The transportation department will resume taking requests on September 5, 2023, pending space availability.

Students' transportation needs are returned to their home addresses at the end of each school year. Tipp City Schools cannot assume students will utilize the same daycare provider as the previous school year.

Parents/guardians must submit a written request to the transportation department at the Board of Education. An email to knadolny@tippcity.k12.oh.us is acceptable. The request must include

  • Date
  • Student's Full Name
  • Reason for request
  • Name and address of daycare provider/babysitter
  • Whether the request is for AM, PM, or AM and PM transportation
  • Phone number of parent/guardian
  • Parent/guardian signature

Please understand that the district may not be able to honor all requests. Decisions are dependent upon bus seat availability. Some buses may be at capacity. Parents/guardians will not be notified if the district cannot accommodate a request. Students may have only one bus stop five days a week in the morning and one bus stop five days a week in the afternoon.
