Tipp City Schools' athletic teams continue in tournament play!
The Tippecanoe High School varsity boys soccer hosted Greenville High School in a 2nd round match-up in the OHSAA Div. II Sectional Tournament. With a 10-0 victory, Tippecanoe advances to the District Semi-Final round and will play Bethel High School on Monday, October 24th at 7:00 p.m. at Carroll High School.
The Tippecanoe High School varsity girls soccer hosted Greenville High School in a 2nd round match-up in the OHSAA Div. II Sectional Tournament. With an 8-0 victory, the Lady Red Devils advance to the District Semi-Final round and will play Kenton Ridge High School on Tuesday, October 25th at 7:00 p.m. at Carroll High School.
In volleyball, the Lady Red Devils defeated Urbana High School in a 2nd round match-up in the OHSAA Div. II Sectional Tournament. With a 3-0 victory, Tippecanoe advances to the District Semi-Final round to play Benjamin Logan on October 25th at Tecumseh High School at 5:30 p.m.
For all OHSAA-sponsored post-season tournaments/meets/matches, tickets can only be purchased online. Tickets must be purchased online at https://www.ohsaa.org/tickets (no tickets will be sold at the gate).
The Tippecanoe High School girls cross country finished in 5th place as a team in the Div. II District Meet and qualified for the Regional Meet next week in Troy. Running well for the Red Devils were Isa Ramos (7th), Morgan Collins (13th), Gracie Wead (38th), Katelyn Beeson (39rd), Libby Krebs (47th), Lauren Anderson (54th), and Belle Stanford (61st).
The Tippecanoe High School boys cross county team finished in 6th place as a team in the Div. I District Meet and qualified for the Regional Meet next week in Troy. Freshman Landon Kimmel set a course record and is the District Champion with a winning time of 15:13.5! Also running well for the Red Devils were: Kalib Tolle (26th), Will Hept (29th), Ethan Berning (34th), Elliott Murray (53rd), Connor Johnson (74th), Nathan Kollmeyer (76th).
In a very tough competition, the Tippecanoe High School game day cheer squad placed 2nd, and the traditional squad earned 4th at this weekend's competition. Ayeva Tilley earned 1st in the jump-off!
And the Tippecanoe High School marching band qualified for the OMEA State Marching Band Finals, scheduled for November 6th at Piqua.
