🏃🏅The Tippecanoe High School athletic department and the Tippecanoe Athletic Boosters presented the boys varsity cross-country team with their state plaques. 🎽Under coaching by Byron Kimmel, Matt Lieber, Jack Lintz, and Melissa Brackman, the team won the 2023 MVL Championship, finished as District Runner-up, and qualified for the 2023 Div. I State Meet, where they finished in 17th place. 🥉Sophomore Landon Kimmel finished in 3rd place in that Division I race.🏃♀️ Sophomore Morgan Collins also qualified for the 2023 Div. 🏊♂️Congratulations to Tippecanoe High School Male Athlete of the Week, Eli Ganger, a sophomore on the varsity swim team. 🏊♂️The team had a strong 3rd-place finish in the MVL Championship Meet, and Eli was a major reason. 🏊♂️ While the team had many great swims, Eli stood out. He has been such a force for the Red Devils this season. His outstanding effort in the 200 IM as the MVL champion and 100 Breaststroke as the MVL runner-up earns Eli this recognition.🏊♂️
👏🏻Congratulations to Tippecanoe High School Female Athlete of the Week Morgan Wolbers. 🎳 Morgan, a junior on the varsity bowling team, is a major contributor to the team's success, including victories last week over Bethel and Stebbins. In the win over Stebbins, Morgan rolled a team season-high of 364 with games of 188 and 176. Through sixteen matches, Morgan is averaging 136.3 pins per game with a high game of 206. 🎳
Military Appreciation Night 2024! Tipp City Schools had the privilege to honor twenty-five servicemen and servicewomen before the National Anthem at Friday night's basketball game. 👏Congratulations to Tippecanoe High School Male Athlete of the Week, Riley Nicholls. 🤼The varsity wrestling team is enjoying a very successful season, and Riley's leadership has played a significant role in its success. 🙌Now in his 3rd year of varsity wrestling for THS, Riley is 8-0 this season. This past weekend, he won the 157 lb. weight class championship at the Brookville Invitational after returning from injury. 👍
