Information from Superintendent Mark Stefanik
With the continued presence of COVID and a new variant, the Ohio Department of Health and Miami County Public Health are recommending the recently updated CDC guidelines and protocols. In short, the new guidelines permit those who test positive for COVID to isolate/quarantine for 5 days, and if the fever has ended and symptoms have improved, the person may resume school activities with a mask for the next 5 days. Attached are two documents outlining the new guidelines/protocols. Tipp City Schools will maintain our in-person learning format, and at this time, there is no district-wide mask mandate (except on school buses). We will continue to monitor data and health department recommendations to determine if we need to make modifications. Thank you and Happy New Year!
