The Tippecanoe Educational Endowment is accepting nominations for its Teacher of the Year Award. The deadline to submit a nomination is Friday, April 29, at noon.
Parents, teachers, colleagues, and students are encouraged to nominate a full-time, certified classroom teacher who they believe is deserving of this recognition. The Tippecanoe Educational Endowment created the Teacher of the Year award to recognize a current, certified classroom teacher from Tipp City Schools for exemplary service and dedication to students and the community.
The award is intended to recognize a significant achievement by a teacher and individual efforts spanning the life of a career. The Teacher of the Year Committee considers a nominee’s traits that compel others to view him or her as a role model, dedication both within and outside of the classroom, and leadership or accomplishments that distinguish him or her among peers.
TEE will recognize all nominees and name the winner at the district’s end-of-the-year gathering.
