👏Let's get a round of applause for Tippecanoe Middle School Athlete of the Week, Elizabeth Shelton, 7th grade volleyball player. 🏐Coach Vagades said, "Elizabeth is a strong, consistent player for our team, and she is a powerhouse at the net. I can always count on Elizabeth in high-pressure situations because she stays calm and focused during the games. 💪 When Liz is given instruction, she makes the necessary adjustments to elevate her game. This shows that she is coachable and willing to make changes, even when it is hard. In the Troy game on Monday, I had to make a game-time decision and put Liz into a completely different position on the floor, and she rose to the occasion. She helped lead her team in the ultimate comeback of the season! Liz does an excellent job adjusting to the set and attacking the ball. 😊She is a silent competitor and works hard in every practice and game to continue to improve. 🌱🍅The Tippecanoe Middle School Garden Club is still blooming! 🌱🍅Our talented and hardworking students are truly making a difference! Under the guidance of their advisor, Dale Bonifas, these dedicated young gardeners have been tending to an impressive array of crops, including tomatoes, cucumbers, chives, strawberries, and more. 🍓Their green thumbs and commitment to giving back shine bright as they’ve donated nearly 200 pounds of fresh produce to Needy Basket, the local food pantry.💚Our students are also enjoying the fruits (and veggies) of their labor.
