📚🔖Tippecanoe High School students and staff attended the Dayton Literary Peace Prize Gala, an awards ceremony celebrating authors whose fiction and nonfiction works promote peace. It is also the culmination of the 2024 DLPP Author Series. ☮️ Earlier this year, Alexander Starritt, whose book We Germans won the 2021 Dayton Literary Peace Prize Fiction Award, spoke with our THS students. Tipp City Public Library partnered with the district and Dayton Literary Peace Prize to let students hear the author discuss his book.🎙️📻 A few students also interviewed Starritt for a podcast on WYSO Dayton Youth Radio; some students and staff attended an informal conversation and luncheon with the author.
