The TMS science fair students did phenomenal last week at the district science fair.  All TMS students were honored with either a superior or excellent rating and the following students earned additional awards.  The TMS science fair students were awarded $750.00 this year and will continue onto the regional science fair on Saturday, March 8th, at Edison Community College.  A big congratulations to all TMS science fair students.

Any science fair student that needs help with uploading their reports and documents onto Project Board, can meet Ms. Sanders after school this Wednesday, February 19th, from 2:50-3:30 (optional).  Please check Google Classroom for all directions.

Yearbook Order Forms 

Yearbook Order Forms will be passed out to your student's 5th period class. The deadline to order is March 21st. Yearbooks will be delivered to your student in May. Their "homeroom": teacher for the purposes of the envelope is their 5th period teacher. Each yearbook is $25. Checks can be made out to Expressions Studios. Any questions or concerns can be directed to Expressions Studios at 937-836-3288

Student Senate is hosting a semi-formal, 6th-8th grade dance on Friday, February 28th from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Presale tickets are $7 and can be purchased from Mrs. Maggie during school hours starting on February 10th. MS Track Participants & Parents - There will be a parent meeting for all parents/athletes on Thursday, February 20 at 6:00 PM in the THS Commons. We will be starting off with HS Track and then will split off into our own room.  

SPRING SPORT TRYOUTS AND START DATES: 

Softball Tryouts- February 19th @ LT Ball 6:00 - 8:00pm

Baseball Tryouts - February 19th @ TMS Gymnasium 6:30-8:30pm

Mandatory Practices for Track - February 24th @ TMS Gymnasium 3:00 - 4:30pm

**PRIOR TO THE START OF TRYOUTS/OFFICIAL PRACTICES YOUR STUDENT ATHLETE MUST HAVE A SPORTS PHYSICAL ON FILE AT TMS OR THEY WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO PARTICIPATE. SPORTS PHYSICALS ARE GOOD FOR ONE FULL CALENDAR YEAR!**

ELIGIBILITY CHECKS: 

We will be pulling eligibility checks this Friday for all Winter student athletes. 

Weekly Eligibility/Grades 7-12: Athletic Code of Conduct

During the athletic season, students must maintain weekly eligibility. Grades will be pulled each Friday. A student that has percentage grades less than 65% in (2) different subjects will be on probation for (1) week and must attend mandatory study tables. If in the following week the student has percentage grades less than 65% in (2) different subjects and has already served probation, they will lose eligibility to participate in contests for (1) week. (Mon - Sun). This weekly policy will not be in effect until the fourth week of each quarter.
