Reminder

The district wants to remind parents and guardians that if their child requires bus transportation to or from a babysitter's house or daycare provider, they should submit the request as soon as possible. Timely submission of these requests helps us ensure proper transportation arrangements and avoid any inconvenience.

The deadline for daycare/babysitter school transportation requests is August 2, 2024. The district will not accept late requests. The transportation department will resume taking requests on September 3, 2024, pending space availability.

A student's transportation needs are returned to their home address at the end of each school year. Tipp City Schools cannot assume students will utilize the same daycare provider as in the previous school year.

Parents/guardians must submit a written request (email is acceptable as an electronic signature) to the transportation department at the Board of Education building. Send email requests to knadolny@tippcity.k12.oh.us

The request must include:
• DATE
• STUDENT NAME
• REASON FOR REQUEST
• NAME & ADDRESS OF DAYCARE PROVIDER/BABYSITTER
• WHETHER IT IS A REQUEST FOR AM, PM, OR AM & PM TRANSPORTATION
• PHONE NUMBER
• PARENT/GUARDIAN SIGNATURE

Please know that the district may not be able to honor all requests. Decisions are dependent upon bus seat availability. Some buses may be at capacity. Parents will be notified if the district cannot accommodate a request.

Students may have only one bus stop five days a week in the morning and one bus stop five days a week in the afternoon.
