Chess Club
Mission Statement
The THS Chess Club allows students to improve their skills in the game of chess while making new friends along the way.
Club Description
Chess club offers the following:
- weekly instruction
- multi player chess sets
- a chance to win a chess set and board for the top player in the club each year. A new player will win each year.
So if you are an experienced player or just a beginner we would love to see you join our club.
Activities Schedule
The chess club meets most Wednesdays or Thursdays after school in Mr McCray's room. It is very informal. You can show up when you can, I realize students have other after school commitments as well, so players show up whenever they can.
