Tippecanoe High School is an outstanding place to learn. US News & World Report named it one of the top high schools in the country. Tipp City students consistently rank among the top in the Miami Valley area in state assessments and college entrance exams. 

THS offers a rigorous program of studies, including accelerated and Advanced Placement courses. We are also partnered with Franklin University, Miami University, and the University of Cincinnati through Sinclair Community College and Edison State Community College. This allows students to earn college credit while taking classes taught by our teachers at our building! Our graduates consistently tell us they were well-prepared for college due to the education they received while at Tipp City Schools.

The high school is also affiliated with the Miami Valley Career Technology Center, which offers 47 vocational programs and Tech Prep courses of study as an alternative to general and college preparatory education programs. Students at Tippecanoe can choose from various co-curricular and extracurricular activities. We have a strong Academic Team that has been an Ohio and National standout for several years and competes throughout the Midwest. We have a local chapter of the National Honor Society, a student senate, and clubs that cater to specific interests, such as Chess Club, Drama Club, Outdoor Club, and more. Our theater productions are an outstanding showcase for our talented students. Our music program features an award-winning marching band, a concert band, a jazz band, a symphonic choir, and a concert choir.

Our athletic teams compete in the Miami Valley League. We offer ten varsity sports for men and women, plus cheerleading.

While we are proud of the attributes we can list on paper, we are even prouder of that intangible quality called spirit. You can feel it in the classrooms and hallways, see it on the playing fields, and hear it from our student musicians. Our students and staff are proud of the tradition of excellence in Tipp City Schools. Spirit abounds at Tippecanoe High School and throughout the school district.
