😊Tippecanoe High School students enrolled in Pam Staub’s Personal Finance classes and FCCLA created Veterans Day cards and presented them to staff veterans John Everson and Jeff Gore. Both veterans took a moment to share a bit of their stories with the students, making it a memorable and educational experience. 🌟#veteransday #WEareTIPP #appreciation #thankyouforyourservice
📚🔖Tippecanoe High School students and staff attended the Dayton Literary Peace Prize Gala, an awards ceremony celebrating authors whose fiction and nonfiction works promote peace. It is also the culmination of the 2024 DLPP Author Series. ☮️ Earlier this year, Alexander Starritt, whose book We Germans won the 2021 Dayton Literary Peace Prize Fiction Award, spoke with our THS students. Tipp City Public Library partnered with the district and Dayton Literary Peace Prize to let students hear the author discuss his book.🎙️📻 A few students also interviewed Starritt for a podcast on WYSO Dayton Youth Radio; some students and staff attended an informal conversation and luncheon with the author. A special thanks goes to the Tipp Foundation for the funding that made this program possible. #WEareTIPP #tippcitylibrary #dlpp #wysopublicradio

👏🏻Here are the incredible essays from LT Ball Intermediate's Veterans Day Essay Contest. 🏆 Fifth grader Aidan Hunter earned 1st place for his essay about his father, and Jude Knull took 2nd place for his tribute to his grandpa. Both students read their heartfelt essays at the Veterans Day Memorial Service this morning. And, while Aidan read his essay, his proud father, who is deployed, was on the phone listening!😊✨📜#veteransday #WEareTIPP #essaycontestwinners #proudmoment #honoringveterans
📚🔦 Flashlight reading fun is magical! To boost their reading minutes for LT Ball's Read-a-Thon, Mrs. Clauss, Mrs. Pierson, and Mrs. Taylor turned down the lights, and students picked up their flashlights! They cozied up under desks, behind chairs, and on the floor—wherever they could find a spot—to dive into their books with the glow from flashlights! ✨📖#readathon #magicaltime #flashlightreading #WEareTIPP #grababook
🚒🔥 A big thank you to Tipp City’s Fire Department for hosting our Broadway Elementary first graders during Fire Prevention Month! 🌟🏃🏻♂️👏🏻Congratulations to Tippecanoe High School Male Athlete of the Week, Landon Kimmel, a junior on the varsity cross country team. Coach Lieber said, "He knows everyone sees the records that Landon has broken and the races that he wins. 🏆Those are obviously great accomplishments and should not be overlooked. The real reason I am nominating him is for putting in so much work that people do not see. This includes running more miles when most everyone else has left practice. This includes doing CORE workouts on his own for hours, even when it is not required. 💪🏻Landon had an injury that kept him out of his entire track season during his sophomore year. The fact that he is running as well as he is is a testament to his hard work and determination. Aside from the running accomplishments, Landon is a leader. He has personally recruited many to join the cross-country team. He offers to give many rides. 🚘😊He leads by example and with his words. Our other athletes respect him so much and often look to him for advice. The best part about all of this is how humble Landon is. If he wins this award, I can already hear him giving credit to someone else to take the spotlight off of himself." #WEareTIPP #athleteoftheweek #hardwork #statechamp #thsxc #running
🎨✨ The Broadway Elementary art room was aglow with creativity! Students had a blast working with black lights and fluorescent markers, making masterpieces with vibrant, glow-in-the-dark magic. Thank you, Mrs. Walters, for creating a unique learning experience.🌟🖍️#WEareTIPP #glowinthedark #makingmagic #artclass
🌟🎉🏈Congratulations to Tippecanoe High School Male Athlete of the Week, Larkin Thomas, a sophomore on the varsity football team. Coach Burgbacher shared, "Larkin Thomas has rewritten the passing records for Tippecanoe football in 2024 as a sophomore!! 🙌🏻 In last week's win over Talawanda, Larkin completed 14/15 passes for 319 yards and five passing TDs. He also rushed for 70 yards and one TD. The 319 yards in one game breaks the 19-year-old school record for most yards passing in a single game. Larkin has also broken the school record for 36 TD passes in a season and passing yards in a season with 2,482 yards. ✨Larkin has tied the record for TD passes in a game with five, doing this last week and three other times this season. Larkin has done a tremendous job for us this season, but he will be the first to admit none of this would be possible without great teammates." 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻#athleteoftheweek #WEareTIPP #footballrecords #touchdowns
